NEEDLE
BEARINGS:
The
rotor
shaft
needle
bearings
are
press
fitted
in
case
haives.
Proceed
as
follows
to
replace.
1.
Pull
oil
seals
out
of
recess
in
case
halves.
2.
Place
round
support
under
bearing
seat
area
and
drive
or
press
the
bearings
out.
The
bearings
can
be
removed
toward
either
the
inside
or
outside
of
case.
3.
Before
installing
replacement
bearings
inspect
seating
surfaces
and
remove
any
nicks,
burrs
or
sharp
edges
that
could
interfere
with
and
damage
the
replacement
bearings
during
installation.
4.
The
hardened
side
of
the
needle
bearing
has
numbering
stamped
in
the
surface.
The
bearings
must
be
driven
from
the
numbered
side.

diameter

press

bearing
into
