DRIVE DISC
STEP 3: Use a wooden handle to pry the drive
disc/pulley assembly off the crankshaft (figure 4.35).
Don’t overlook the square key when reinstalling the
drive disc (figure 4.36).
STEP 4: Separate the pulley from the drive disc by
removing the three l/4x5/8 thread forming screws.
Use new screws whenever replacing the drive disc
(figure 4.37). Carefuliy inspect drive disc and puliey
and replace components as needed (figure 4.38)
before reassembling and reinstalling on engine.
