5.12.8 DRAINING WATER FROM THE FUEL TANK/EMPTYING THE
FUEL TANK
This operation must be carried out only by qualified personnel.
Proceed as follows to drain/empty the fuel tank:
• Continue with engine off;
• Place a container under the fuel tank to collect the liquids;
• Unscrew the filler plug of the fuel tank (1);
• Unscrew the drain plug (2) found in the lower part of the tank;
• Drain the liquid until only "diesel" is present;
• Screw back the plug (2) by tightening it with a 15 Nm torque;
• Screw back the filler plug (1) of the fuel tank;
• Dispose of the drained liquids according to the relevant regulations in force
5.12.9 CHECKING THE INTEGRITY OF THE DRAIN PIPE/S
Visually check that the gas exhaust system is not blocked or damaged. Make sure there are no potential
dangerous fumes inside the machine. If necessary, contact the assistance service.
