Empty the fuel tank and carburetor and refill with fresh, clean gasoline if there's water, old, or stale fuel. Clean the fuel system and carburetor if they are blocked or clogged. Check and tighten the spark plug wire if it's loose, and clean, adjust, or replace the spark plug if faulty. Remove any ice and snow from the gas cap. Drain oil to the proper level if the engine oil is overfilled. Check the oil level and add oil if low. Also, check if the engine is overheating.
