• 10. Rinse the siphon tube with cold water in
ordertocooloff,thenyoucanremoveitfrom

• 11. Place the jar lid over the jar aligning the
“UNLOCK” line with the handle´s mark, turn
the lid clockwise until “POUR” line match with
the mark of the handle and pour.

HOW TO DISASSEMBLE?
• a)Meshlter:Takeoutthemeshlterfromthe
jar by turning it strongly counter clockwise to
release it and lift.
• b)Uppervessel:Holdthejar´shandlewithone
of your hands, and then turn the upper ves-
sel counter clockwise from its handle with the
other hand to release and lift.
• c) Take out the siphon tube from the jar by tur-
ning it counter clockwise to release and lift.

CLEANING PROCEDURE
BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE
FIRST TIME
• 1. Wash thoroughly every single part of your
coffeemachinewithasoftsponge,waterand
soap,withtheexceptionoftheheatingplaque.
• 2. Follow the instructions in order to perform
one coffee cycle without putting any coffee into
the upper vessel.
CLEANING DIRECTIONS
• 1. Always remember to turn the appliance off
and unplug it from the electric power source.
Removetheheatingplaque,sincethisparticu-
lar item cannot be submerged or be washed
with water.
• 2. Wash the jar, siphon tube, jar and upper
vessellidswithasponge,wateranddishwash
lightsoap,pleaseallowthemtodrycomplete-
ly before assemble them again. DO NOT USE
ANY ABRASIVE FIBERS.
• 3. The upper vessel must be washed with hot
water and a soft sponge in order to maintain its
crystal clear appearance.
• 4. It is our recommendation to wash the mesh
lterwithsmallbrushsothatyoucanremove
thoroughly the ground coffee residuals.
• 5. Clean the heating plaque with lightly wet
cloth.
• 6. All ensemble parts with the excep-tion of the
heating plaque are dish washer suitable.
• 7.Donotuseanysolvents,oracidfactorPH
substances,oranyabrasiveproductwhilecle-
aning your appliance.
• 8. Do not submerge or get the heating plaque
wet,orholditdirectlyunderthewatertap.
• 9. We recommend to clean the appliance regu-
larly and remove the ground coffee residuals
after every use.
• 10. You must wait for every washable ac-
ce-ssories to completely dry before ensemble
them back and use the appliance again.
DECALCIFICATION
• In order for your coffee machine to continue its
perfectwayofpreparingyourbeverages,from
time to time you must get rid of the minerals
residuals left behind by the hardness of the wa-
terwithaspecicanti-calcproductsuitablefor
your coffee machine.
• The frequency with which you will have to
perform this operation may vary depending
the water hardness of every location and how
much you use your coffee machine. If you use
your appliance twice a day follow this guide-
lines:
• Softwater,every6months
• Mediumhardwater,every2to3months
• Hardwater,every6to8weeks.
• Fill your coffee machine with the anti-calc pro-
duct as if you were preparing coffee and once
theprocessends,rinsethoroughlyandrepea-
tedly with water before using your appliance
again.
