1 • Your e-Solex
1.1 Introduction

This new version is different from previous versions,
most notably thanks to a certain number of techni-
cal improvements that you will discover as you read
this manual.
Modernised by famous Italian designer Pininfarina,
the e-Solex has obtained European approval accor-
ding to the CE 2002/24 directive.
With your e-Solex, you will discover the pleasure
of a new type of two-wheeled transportation, thanks
to electric propulsion: the motor located in the axis
of the rear wheel lowers the centre of gravity, allo-
wing a progressive and silent take-off, all while pro-
viding an exceptional riding experience.
Light, stable and easy to steer, your e-Solex will
allow you to move about without noise or odours up
to a maximum speed of 35 km/h, depending on
your country's laws*.
Your e-Solex's battery was specially designed to
allow you to easily recharge it at home or at work. In
fact, it is removable and weighs less than 4kg. It is
also possible to recharge it on the vehicle itself
thanks to a socket located under the seat. The
Lithium-Polymer technology used in the e-Solex
battery allows it to be recharged at 70% capacity in
4 hours or 100% capacity in 8 hours.
Equipped with a telescopic front fork, a shock-
absorbing adjustable saddle and mechanical disc
brakes, the e-Solex will provide you with pleasant
trips and much comfort during use.
Just like its predecessor, the e-Solex is econo-
mic, and you will be able to cover approximately
1000 km for around 1€ of electric consumption!

before hitting the road. It will be your guide for the
riding, maintenance and usage of your e-Solex.
Furthermore, following the listed guidelines will
maximise the vehicle's efficiency.
