Sonatest Wave - Quick Start Guide
1 Introduction
This tutorial provides information for the Wave inspection instrument. It has
been designed so that people with good knowledge of conventional
ultrasonic testing can easily and rapidly use the Wave to make inspections.
2 Connection and Powering Up
This section explains how to connect the unit to a power source, connecting
probes, and starting it up.
NOTE: Detailed information about the f
unctionalities presented in
this Quick Start Guide are available in the Wave User Guide.
IMPORTANT: When you exit an application, the Autosave
feature will automatically save all parameter settings (your
configuration) in the file named "Autosave".
NOTE: All functions of the Wave instrument are accessible through the
touch screen.
NOTE: Wave can be ordered with two types of connectors: Lemo or
BNC.
