NOTE:
Always avoid any intersection of trace when performing Ttrace method,
so as to prevent calculation error.
3.6.1.5 Volume measurement (2-Axis, 3-Axis)
Volume measurement consists of 2-Axis and 3-Axis.
A．2-Axis
Function: Based on the perpendicular section of the measured object, to
calculate the volume of the measured object.
Principle: Formula for 2-Axis:
V = (π/6) × A × B

Where A is the long axis of the ellipse, and B is the short axis of the
ellipse.
Measurement method:

1． In B mode frozen state, press the 【Calc】key
to pop up the Meas & Calc menu, move the
trackball, use the cursor to select “volume”,
press the【SET】key to go to the submenu,
move the trackball to select “2-Axis”, press
the【SET】key to go to “2-Axis volume”
measurement mode.
2． Move the cursor to the start point of the fixing
axis of the ellipse measurement area. Press
the【SET】key, and on the fixing axis start
point , it displays a mark “+”.
3． Move the cursor to the end point of the fixing
axis of the ellipse measurement area.
Between the cursor “+” and “x” there is a
connecting dotted line. Press the【SET】key,
on the fixing axis end point it displays the
mark “x”, and on the screen it displays an
ellipse.
