5 Probe Maintenance
5.1 Probe cleaning and disinfection
Clean the transducer and the probe handle after each use.
Disinfect the transducer periodically.
Keep a log of maintenance (inspection, cleaning and
disinfection) and malfunction.
Probe immersion level
For surface probes, do not immerse the probe beyond its junction line
(refer to figure 1).
