Infrared Port
The infrared port in your phone can be used to exchange
information with another device equipped with infrared.
To set infrared options
} Settings } Connectivity } Infrared port } On or
} 10 minutes to turn on for 10 minutes.
To connect two devices
1 Turn on infrared in both devices.
2 Make sure the infrared port on your phone is facing
the infrared port on the other device with a maximum
distance of 20 cm.
To transfer items using infrared
1 Select an item to transfer.
2 } More } Send and select Via infrared.
Update Service
Keep your phone updated with the latest software. When
a new software version is available, you can download
and install it without affecting the user data in your phone.
Choose one of the following methods to update your phone:
• Over the air via your phone, Sony Ericsson remote update
service.
• Online via a USB cable and an Internet-connected
computer, Sony Ericsson Update Service.
