LA-EA1/LA-EA3/LA-EA5 Mount Adaptor
If you use the LA-EA1 Mount Adaptor (sold separately), LA-EA3 Mount Adaptor (sold separately), or LA-EA5 Mount
Adaptor (sold separately), the following functions are available.
To use the LA-EA5 Mount Adaptor (sold separately), update the camera’s system software (firmware) to Ver. 1.10 or
later.
Autofocus:
LA-EA1/LA-EA3: Auto-focusing is available with an SAM/SSM lens only.
LA-EA5: Auto-focusing is available with an AF lens for A-Mount*. (With lenses other than SAM/SSM, auto-focusing is
performed by the autofocus coupler of the LA-EA5 Mount Adaptor.)
AF system:
Phase Detection AF
AF/MF select:
Can be changed using the operating switch on the lens.
Focus Mode:
Single-shot AF/Automatic AF/Continuous AF/DMF (Direct Manual Focus)/Manual Focus
When using a Mount Adaptor in the movie mode, adjust the aperture value and the focus manually.
Available focus area:
[Wide]/[Zone]/[Center]/[Flexible Spot]/[Expand Flexible Spot]/[Tracking]
