Choosing the
power sources
You can use the AC power or
batteries as a power source.
Tip
Preset memories for
clock/timer/radlo are
saved for about 60
minutes even after you
disconnect the AC
power cord or remove
die batteries.

Replacing batteries
With normal use, the batteries should last for about six
months. When the remote no longer operates the
player, replace all the batteries with new ones.
B Using the player on batteries
Insert six size D (R20) batteries (not supplied) into the
battery compartment.
To use (he player on batteries, disconnect the AC
power cord from the player.
Selecting the
audio emphasis
(Sound Mode^EGA BASS)
You can adjust the audio emphasis of the
sound you are listening to.
Selecting the sound characteristic
Press SOUND to select the audio emphasis 3 ml want

Reinfercing the bass sound
