1 Preparing the battery pack
_]_lnsert the battery pack into the battery charger.
OConnect the battery pack to the wall outlet (wall socket).
The CHARGE laml? lights on, and charging starts+
When the CHARGE lamp turns off, charging is finished/PracticM charge),
If you continue charging the battery pack lor about one more hour (until it is lillly cllarged), the charge
will last sliglltly longer,
• Connect the batteJy charger to an easily accessible wall outlet (wall socket) close by,
• Even if the CHARGE lamp is not lit. the battcry charger is not disconnecmd li+om the AC power source
/lnains) as long as it is connected to the wall outlet (wall socket). If SOlne trouble occup, willie using the
battery cllarger, immediately slmt off the power by disconnecting the plug liom the wall outlet (wall
socket).
• When cllarging is finishcd, disconnect the power cord/mains lead) liom the wall outlet (wall socket), and
remove the battcl3_ pack hom the battery charger+
• The time required to fully charge tile supplied battely pack h+om when it is completely discllarged at a
temperature of 25°C (77°F) is approximately 220 rain+, and tile practical charging time is approximately
160 rain. Charging nmy rake longer under certain circumstances or conditions+
