Install
four
size
AA
(LR6)
alkaline
batteries.
Approximately
8
hours
of
disc
playing
is
possible.
Close
the
battery
compartment
lid
firmly.

The
indication
appears
on
the
display
window
when
the
unit
is
operated.

flashes
when
the
batteries
become
weak
and

operation
automatically
stops.

new

or
AC-E90M.

use
any
other
adaptors
manufactured

Sony

the
polarity

of
the
conventional
adaptors.

not
use
the
supplied
AC
power
adaptor
for
other
“‘Discman’’
CD
compact
players
with
DC
IN
9
V
jack,
nor
the
optional
AC
power
adaptor
such
as
Polarity
of
the
plug
the
AC-D6M
(Unified
polarity
type)
The
unit
may
become
warm
The
bottom
of
the
unit
may
be
warm
during
operation,

normal.
If
it

unusually
warm,
disconnect

AC
power
adaptor
and
consult

dealer

battery
compartment
