Troubleshooting
Your camera cannot delete an image.
• Cancel the protection (page 56).
• You are using the “Memory Stick Duo” with the write-protect switch, and the switch is set to
the LOCK position. Set the switch to the recording position (page 117).
You have deleted an image by mistake.
• Once you have deleted an image, you cannot restore it. We recommend that you protect
images (page 55), or use the “Memory Stick Duo” with the write-protect switch and set the
switch to the LOCK position (page 117) to prevent accidental erasure.
The resizing function does not work.
• You cannot resize movies, Multi Burst images, and images in the Album.
You cannot display a DPOF (Print order) mark.
• You cannot display DPOF (Print order) marks on images in the Album and movies.
You cannot cut a movie.
• The movie is not long enough to cut (shorter than about two seconds).
• Cancel the protection (page 56).
• Still images cannot be cut.
You cannot paint.
• You cannot paint on images in the Album.
• There is not enough free-capacity in media. Delete unnecessary images.
