3 Close the battery cover.
To remove the battery
Turn the power off and hold the unit with the battery cover up, then
remove the battery.
Be sure not to drop the battery.
Battery duration (When used at 25 °C (77 °F))

When you use the unit at low temperatures, we recommend you use a
Nickel-Metal Hydride battery.
• The battery duration may differ from the above depending on the
situation or the environmental condition.
Cautions
If you mishandle the battery, there is a danger of leakage or explosion. Be
sure to observe the following.
– Insert a battery with the correct polarity +/–.
– Do not charge a dry battery.
– Remove the battery when you do not use the unit for a long time.
Otherwise, it may result in leakage of the battery.
