Re-tuning: SONY Freeview TVs
This guide can be used to help you re-tune any of the following products with the remote control below:
1) Press the Menu
button
Make sure your box is on and press 80
for the BBC News channel
2) Use the Down Arrow
button to select
Settings on the sixth
line of the menu and
press the Centre
button
3) Use the Down
Arrow to select the
bottom TV icon and
press the Centre
button
4) Select Digital Setup
and press the
Centre button
5) Select the Spanner
icon and press the
Centre button

Accessing the Menu

Press the Menu button on the remote control to begin the re-tuning process.

Navigating to Settings

Use the Down Arrow to select 'Settings' on the sixth line of the menu and press the Centre button.

Selecting the TV Icon

Use the Down Arrow to select the bottom TV icon and press the Centre button.

Entering Digital Setup

Select 'Digital Setup' option and press the Centre button to proceed.

Completing the Re-tuning Process

Initiating Digital Auto Tuning

Select 'Digital Auto Tuning' and press the Centre button to start the scan.

Confirming Auto Tuning

Press the Centre button again to confirm the auto-tuning process.

Re-tune Screen and Progress

A re-tune screen will appear showing the progress; no user action is required.

Tuning Completion Confirmation

A confirmation screen appears, and BBC1 plays out. Press Menu to close.
