To stop dubbing
Press C1 on Deck B during dubbing at
NORMAL SPEED.
Press C1 on Deck A or Deck B during
dubbing at HIGH SPEED.
How to select the DIRECTION MODE
position (Step 2 on left)
=— :Dubbing on one side of the tape.
Dubbing stops at the end of the
tape.
© :Dubbing on both sides of the tape
with the same lengths.
When the tape on one deck comes
to its end, it reverses immediately
regardiess of the tape position of
the other deck.
RELAY: Dubbing on both sides of the tape
with the different lengths.
When the tape on one deck
reaches its end, it stops until the
other tape also comes to the end,
and then both tapes reverse
together.

Dubbing
In normal dubbing, you can skip blanks
between selections.
1 Start normal speed dubbing.
2 Press AMS/BLANK SKIP.
When the Deck A detects a blank of more
than 10 seconds long, it skips to the
beginning of the next selection, and the
playback resumes. During that period,
Deck B goes into the recording pause
mode, and resumes recording when the
playback on Deck A restarts.
When dubbing starts from the reverse
side in RELAY mode
At the end of the reverse side, dubbing
stops automatically.
How to select the DUBBING SPEED
position (Step 3 on left)
NORMAL speed: Dubbing is convenient to
edit the tape.
Dubbing is convenient to
dub a whole tape.
HIGH speed:
During high speed dubbing, only Dis
operative.

In normal speed dubbing, you can dub only
desired portions on tape.
1 Start normal speed dubbing.
2 Press Con deck A at the beginning
of the portion to be skipped.
Deck B goes into the recording pause
mode.
3 Search for the portion to dub next on
Deck A using ®& or <j.
Then press C to stop the tape.
4 Press §8 on Deck B.
Dubbing begins again.
Is it necessary to select the DOLBY NR
system ?
No.The cassette in Deck B is automatically
recorded in the same state as the original
cassette on Deck A.
is it possible to listen to program
sources other than tape during
dubbing?
Yes. Any program source can be selected
with the function selectors.
To insert a four-second blank space
between selections
The recording muting function is also
available during normal speed dubbing.
Press © when the deck B is in pause
during dubbing.
