Vertical-sensitivity
Adjustment
1.
Perform
the
longitudinal
adjustment.
2.
Adjust
the
pivot
bearings
and
the
pivot-locking
nuts
so
that
the
tonearm
sinks
more
than
5mm
(%s2
inches)
when
the
40
mg
weight
is
placed
on
the
head
shell,
and
the
tonearm
is
in
a
horizontally
balanced
position
when
the
weight
is
removed.
Note:
Tighten
the
pivot
bearings
as
shown
below.

1.
Bring
the
tonearm
above
the
record.
2.
Lift
the
cueing
lever
up
and
make
sure
that
the
clearance
between
the
stylus
