REMOVAL REMOVAL
1) Remove head cover by removing two machine Loosen small gear setscrew and remove the
screws, P 2.6 x 8, and two washers, W 2.6. rotary ferrite head unit ass’y in the direction shown
2) Remove two machine screws, P 2 x 4. by ere:
(-) SC 3x6 small gear

head cover P2x4 rotary ferrite head unit ass’y
Note: When the record head is replaced, per-
form “1. Record Head Adjustment after
Record Head Replacement” on page 23.
When the playback head is replaced,
perform “2, Playback Head Adjustment
after Playback Head Replacement” on
page 25.
