HOT LINE Button: Keep depressed to talk with others or with the person who is listening
to a tape with you through another set of headphones. The tape voiume will be decreased
by the “hot line” function, while the Built-in Microphone will pick up your and the other
person’s voices, which will be heard through your and the other person’s headphones.
Built-in Microphone [MIC]: Picks up sound when the HOT LINE button is depressed.
Battery/Operation Indicator [OPERATION]: Lights when the set is in operation. The indi-
cator also shows the battery condition.
Battery Compartment (in the back): Insert two IEC designation R6 (size AA) batteries or
the optional battery pack recommended for this set.
External Power Input Jack [DC IN 3V]: For operation on house current, connect the
optional AC power adaptor recommended for this set. For operation from a car battery,
connect the optional car battery cord recommended for this set.
Stereo Headphones (supplied): Connect to either of the HEADPHONES jacks.
