Symptom Cause/remedy
The unit vibrates.

c This is due to the operation of the built-in hard disk and is not a
defect.

c When the remote control is set to the HOLD mode, no operation is
possible. Cancel the HOLD mode.
c Confirm that the remote control is plugged in correctly into the
connector.
c Confirm if the headphone connector is dirty. If necessary, wipe it
with a dry cloth or similar.
c Computers running the Windows Me operating system may not
come out of standby mode while the player is still connected. When
the music transfer is finished, disconnect the USB cable.
