Flexible Circuit Board Repairing Notes on chip component replacement
@ Never reuse a disconnected chip component.
@ Notice that the minus side of a tantalum capacitor
may be damaged by heat.
@ Keep the temperature of the soldering iron around
270°C during repairing.
@ Do not touch the soldering iron on the same con-
ductor of the circuit board (within 3 times).
@ Be careful not to apply force on the conductor
when soldering or unsoldering.

To improve FM sensitivity
Use the band selector.
for For FM reception, normally set to OX. If a very strong
WM-AF61 {station signal causes noise, set to LOCAL The noise
WM-BF60_ Iwill be reduced.
For FM reception, normaliy set to FM ST. When it is
hard to hear the broadcast due to noise, set to MONO.
The reception wiil be more stable and noise will be
reduced. in this mode, there is no stereo effect.
To improve receiving condition
FM Since the headphone cord serves as an FM antenna,
extend it for better reception.
AM Since the reception is affected by the direction of the unit,
rotate the unit horizontally for optimum reception.
