Repeat
Steps
4
and
5
until
no
further
adjustment
is
needed.
7.
Remove test
leads and
reassemble
front
panel.
8.
Reinstall the
temperature sensor
into the bottom of the rotor
chamber.
9.
Close and
secure
the front
panel.
Overtemperature/Undertemperature
Adjustment
1.
Set
the
POWER
switch
to
ON,
and
open
the
centrifuge lid.
Remove
the
rotor,
if
necessary.
2.
Set the
POWER
switch
to OFF.
3.
Loosen
the
temperature sensor
located
in the bottom of
the
rotor chamber
and
place
the
sensor
in
a
beaker of
warm
water
(approximately
50°C).
4.
Close and lock
the
centrifuge
lid.
5.
Set the
SPEED
control knob
to
zero.
6.
Open
the
front
panel
(see
paragraph
5-32)
and set
the
POWER
switch
to
ON.
7.
Adjust
the
overtemperature
threshold
potentiometer
on
Temperature
Control
P.C.
Board
(R25*)
until
the
fault indicator
lights.
If
the fault indicator
is
already
lit,
back
off
on
R25
until
light
goes
out
and then
readjust.
8.
Open
the
centrifuge lid,
remove
the
beaker
and reinstall
the
temperature
sensor
into
the
bottom
of the
rotor
chamber.
Close and lock
lid
(fault light should
be off).
9.
Verify
that the
undertemperature
is
functioning
by
momentarily
unplugging
the
temperature sensor
connector
(Jl
1/P11).
The fault
light should
go
on.
Open
lid
and
the fault
indicator
will
reset.
10.
Set
the
POWER
switch
to
ON.
11.
Close and
secure
the
front
panel.

1.
Plug
a frequency
meter
into
the double
jacks
located
on
the back of
the
centrifuge.
2.
Open
the front
panel (see
paragraph
5-32).
3.
Set
the
POWER
switch
to
ON,
and
open
the
centrifuge
lid.
Install
an
H-1000B
Rotor without
buckets,
and
close
and lock lid.

If
the
P.C.
board
you
are
calibrating
does not have
R25,
adjust potentiometer
R16.

If
the
Temperature
Control
P.C.
Board
has been
upgraded to
PN
07878,
see
Section
8 of this
manual for
the calibration
procedure.
