Set
the
TIME
control
knob
to
HOLD
and the
SPEED
control
knob
to
minimum
setting
(do not turn too
far
as
this will
shut
off
switch).
5.
Adjust potentiometer
(R64)
for
a speed
of 600
rpm
±50
rpm.
6.
Set the
POWER
switch
to
OFF.
7.
Disconnect
frequency
meter
and
close
the front
panel.
NOTE
Whenever
an
adjustment
to minimum
speed
is
necessary,
recheck
maxi¬
mum
speed
and recalibrate,
if
necessary.
Maximum Speed Adjustment
1.
Plug
a frequency
meter
Into
the double
jacks
located
on
the
back
of the
centrifuge.
2.
Open
the
front
panel (see
paragraph
5-32).
3.
Set
the
POWER
switch
to
ON.
and
open
the
centrifuge lid.
Install
an
H-1000B
Rotor
with
buckets.
Close and
lock the
lid.
4.
Set the
TIME
control knob
to
HOLD
and the
SPEED
control knob to
maximum
setting.
5.
Adjust potentiometer
(R65)
until
the
frequency
meter reads
3200
rpm,
+100
rpm/
-
0
rpm.
6.
Set the
POWER
switch
to OFF.
7.
Disconnect
frequency
meter
and
close
the front
panel.
NOTE
Whenever
an adjustment
to maximum
speed
is
necessary,
recheck
mini¬
mum
speed
and recalibrate,
if
necessary.

1.
Plug a frequency
meter
into the double
Jacks located at
the
back
of
the
centrifuge.
2. Open
the
front
panel
(see
paragraph
5-32).
3.
Set the
POWER
switch
to
ON,
and
open
the
centrifuge lid.
Install
an
H-1000B
Rotor
with
buckets.
Close and
latch the
lid.
4.
Set
the
POWER
switch
to
OFF.
and
unplug
the
centrifuge
power cord.
