Latch
Assembly (without
Interlock) Replacement
1. Unplug
the
centrifuge power cord.
2.
Open
the
front
panel
(paragraph
5-32)
and
locate
the latch
assembly
without interlock
on
the left
hand side
of
the
opening
In
the
frame.
3.
Disconnect
wires
from
door
open
switch, noting
proper
wire
locations
for
reassembly.
4.
Remove
the
black Kydex®
cover
by prying
the
plastic
caps
off the
four
screws (one
in
each
corner)
and
removing
the four
screws.
5.
Remove
the
six
mounting
screws
that
secure
the
latch
assembly
to the
frame.
CAUTION
The
fishpaper
insulation
will
also
come
loose
with the latch
assembly.
6.
Remove
the latch
assembly.
7.
To
replace
the latch
assembly,
reverse
the
procedure given above, making sure
the
fishpaper
Insulation
is
reinstallated.

Door
Open
Switch
Replacement
1. Unplug
the
centrifuge
power
cord.
2.
Open
the
front
panel (paragraph
5-32)
and
locate
the
door
open
switch
on
the left
hand
latch
assembly.
3.
Remove
the
two mounting screws
that
secure
the
switch
and
latch
assembly
(without
interlock).
4.
Disconnect
the
switch
wires,
after
noting
proper
wire
locations
for
reassembly (see
figure 5-3).
5.
Remove
the
switch.
6.
To
replace
the door
open
switch, reverse
the
procedure given above.

Timer
Replacement
1. Unplug
the
centrifuge
power cord.
2.
Remove
the
timer
knob
on
the
front
panel
by
removing
the
two set
screws using an
5/64 inch Alien
wrench.
Pull
knob off.
