Unsnap
the
mounting
bracket at
the
cap
end
of the
capacitor (see figure
5-6).
Remove
the
cap
from the
end of
the
capacitor
and
remove
the
capacitor
from its
mounting
bracket
with
the
wires
still
attached.
3.
Unsnap
the
cover
spring
and
remove
the
plastic
cover.
4.
Trace
the
two capacitor
leads and note
their locations for
reassembly.
Remove
the
leads
and the
capacitor.

1. Unplug
the
centrifuge
power
cord and
remove
the
access panel
(paragraph
5-33).
2.
Unsnap
the
cover
spring
and
remove
the
plastic cover protecting
the
start
relay (see
figure 5-4).
3.
Note
location
of
relay
wires.
Disconnect
the
wires
and
pull
the
relay
from its
socket.
4.
To
replace
the start
relay,
reverse
steps

through
3.
