PL
USER MANUAL
• Before starting welding and during the
process, isolate yourself from the
substrate and the environment using
dry and undamaged protective
clothing. Do not work on wet ground.
• It is forbidden to touch the ŁW sockets ("+" and /
or "-") while the device is operating (the device
is connected to the power supply).
• Do not touch the live electrical parts of
the device.
• Never turn on the power, before proper
installation of the equipment to the LW
sockets / connections in the device.
• Use dry, hole- and damage-free welding
gloves and protective clothing to
ensure adequate body insulation. It is
forbidden to touch any elements
making up the electric circuit with your
bare hands.
• Always make sure that there is a good
electrical connection between the
return line and the workpiece. The
connection should be as close as
possible to the weld area.
• Keep the electrode holder, welding
holder, mass clamp, welding cables
and the welding machine in proper
technical condition ensuring safe use.
Damaged wire insulation must be
replaced with a new one.
• Never immerse the electrode in water to
cool it down.
• When working above floor level (at
height), use appropriate safety belts.
To protect yourself from falling from a
height in the event of an electric shock.
• Be especially careful when using the
device in small rooms or in places with
increased air humidity.
1.3 ARC RADIATION MAY BE
DANGEROUS
The welding arc generates:
• UV (
can damage skin and eyes)
• Visible light (
may blind you or impair
your vision)
• Infrared radiation (
can damage skin and
eyes)
The radiation of the welding arc can act
directly or be reflected on smooth
surfaces of metal or colored objects.
1.3.1 Eye and face protection
• Use a welding shield / helmet with an
appropriate filter to protect the face
and eyes from sparks and radiation
from the welding arc.
• The shield / helmet should ensure eye and
face protection against injury, which may
be caused by welding spatter.
• Welding shield / helmet should be made
in accordance with applicable
standards.
1.3.2 Body protection
• The body should be protected with
appropriate protective clothing compliant
with the standards in force.
• Use suitable protective clothing made of
durable, fire-resistant material to
protect the skin adequately.
