  If the motor protection of your Speck pumpen Water Pump is triggered, it could be due to several reasons: * There may be a short-circuit in the motor winding. Check the motor winding. * The motor protection switch might not be correctly set or is defective. Check the setting or replace the switch. * The motor may be overloaded. Check and reduce the operating liquid flow rate. * There could be excessive backpressure in the outlet nozzle. Reduce backpressure. * There might be an excessive share of liquid in the suction flow. Reduce the share of liquid. * The suction-side fitting may be blocked. Open the suction-side fitting.

  Excessive power consumption in your Speck pumpen Water Pump motor can occur due to: * Motor overload: Check and reduce the operating liquid flow rate. * Excessive backpressure: Reduce backpressure in the outlet nozzle. * Excessive share of liquid: Reduce the share of liquid in the suction flow. * Blocked suction-side fitting: Open the suction-side fitting. * High density/viscosity: Use an operating liquid complying with the density recommended in the data sheet. * Impeller rubbing: Disassemble the pump and properly set the inter casing/impeller gap size. * Pump contamination/calcification: Flush, descale, or disassemble the pump and clean it.
