Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
This equipment needs special precautions regarding Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and needs to be
installed and put into service in accordance with the EMC information provided in this Instructions for Use Manual.
Wireless communications equipment such as wireless home network devices, mobile phones, cordless
telephones and their base stations, walkie-talkies can affect the Spectra S1 Plus and S2 Plus and should be kept
at least 1.0 meters away from the equipment.
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
A. This device may not cause harmful interference.
B. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part
15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
typical installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy, and if not installed
and used in accordance with these instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that harmful interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment
causes harmful interference to radio or television, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on,
the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference using one or more of the following measures:
– Reorient or relocate the receiving device.
– Increase the separation between the equipment.
– Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the other device(s) are connected.
– Consult the manufacturer or a field service technician for help.
The Spectra S1 Plus & S2 Plus breast pumps should not be used adjacent to or stacked
with other electrical equipment. If adjacent or stacked use is necessary, it is the
responsibility of the user to verify that the pump operates normally in such a
configuration.
This equipment has no essential performance. It has been tested for immunity to electromagnetic disturbances
and passed testing based on certain criteria, such as component failures, changes in programmable parameters
or operating mode, cessation or interruption of any intended operation, or the initiation of any unintended
operation.

This equipment is intended for use in the electromagnetic environment specified below. It is the responsibility of
the user of the Spectra S1 Plus or Spectra S2 Plus breast pump to ensure that it is used in such an environment.
