  If, when activated, the motor hums but doesn't run, it could be due to: * An incorrect extension cable. Replace it with an extension cord of the correct size and length, as described in the manual. * Incorrect or insufficient voltage or amperage. Contact an authorized electrician to check the power supply. * A failed capacitor. Contact a Spitwater service agent.
