6 Cleaning
Danger!
Always pull the plug out of the socket before each cleaning.
Danger!
Never immerse the appliance, the plug or the power cord in water or other liquids. Do not clean it in
the dishwasher.
Risk of burns or injury!
Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning it.
- Wipe the housing with a soft cloth only, slightly moistened if necessary.
- Clean the trays with warm water and a mild detergent. Use a dish brush to remove stubborn residues. Dry all
parts thoroughly. Optionally these parts can be also cleaned in the dishwasher.
- Do not use any abrasive utensils and materials or aggressive cleaning products to clean the appliance or its
components.
- Ensure that the appliance and all parts are completely dry before using them again or storing them.

Beans, whole, blanched 70 °C 6 – 10 hours
Cauliflower, in florets, blanched 70 °C 6 – 8 hours
Peas, without pods, blanched 70 °C 6 – 8 hours
Carrots, about 5 mm thick slices, blanched 70 °C 6 – 8 hours
Kohlrabi, in sticks or slices, blanched 70 °C 3 – 5 hours
Pepper, in strips 70 °C 4 – 6 hours
Mushrooms, depending on size whole, halved or slices 50 °C 4 – 6 hours
Asparagus, peeled, blanched 70 °C 4 – 8 hours
Tomatoes, skinned, about 5 mm thick slices 65 °C 7 – 10 hours
Zucchini, about 5 mm thick slices 70 °C 7 – 8 hours
Others Temperature Time
Herbs, detached from the stalk 40 °C 2 – 6 hours
Beef Jerky, about 5 mm and 4 cm wide pieces 40 °C 6 – 8 hours
Walnuts, fresh 35 °C 8 – 10 hours
Hazelnuts, fresh 35 °C 7 – 9 hours
