Function Description:

The Stride BT5 earphones are primarily designed for wireless audio playback and hands-free calling. They connect to mobile devices or music players via Bluetooth, allowing users to enjoy music and manage calls without being tethered by wires. The earphones feature an in-line remote control for easy management of audio playback and phone calls. A unique magnet play/pause feature allows users to pause music by bringing the earbuds together and resume by pulling them apart.

Quick Start Guide:

Charging:

Carefully lift the rubber cover for the Micro USB charging port and rotate it to the rear.
Insert the Micro USB Cable into the charging port.
Insert the USB end into a power source (e.g., Sprout AC adapter, car charger, computer/notebook USB connection).
The LED indicator light will flash red while charging and turn solid red when fully charged.

Turning On/Off:

To turn on: Press and hold the on/off button for 3 seconds. A tone will sound, and the LED indicator light will turn on.
To turn off: Press and hold the on/off button for 3 seconds. A tone will sound, and the LED indicator light will remain off.
Automatic Turn Off: The Stride BT5 will automatically turn off 2 minutes after being disconnected from your mobile device.

Connecting via Bluetooth (Pairing):

Ensure your mobile device is within 10 meters of the Stride BT5 and the earphones have sufficient battery charge.
Turn on the Stride BT5 by holding the on/off button for 3 seconds to activate pairing mode. The LED indicator light will flash red and blue, indicating it's ready for pairing.
Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone/music device.
"Stride BT5" will appear on your device's Bluetooth list. Select "Stride BT5" to pair.
Once paired, the LED indicator light will flash blue every 5 seconds.
The Stride BT5 stores the last paired device and will automatically reconnect if the device is within Bluetooth range. To pair with a new device, you must first disconnect from the currently paired device.

Music Controls:

Volume Up: Press and release the volume up button.
Volume Down: Press and release the volume down button.
Track Advance: Press and hold the volume up button for 2 seconds.
Track Back: Press and hold the volume down button for 2 seconds for the previous track.
Play/Pause: Press and release the on/off button.
Magnet Play/Pause: Pause music by placing the Stride BT5 earbuds together. Play music again by pulling them apart.

Phone Call Controls:

Answer/End Calls: Press and release the on/off button.
Increase Volume: Press and release the volume up button during a call.
Decrease Volume: Press and release the volume down button during a call.

Wearing Stride BT5:

The earphones come with alternative rubber earbuds in small and large sizes for comfort. The large earbud is fitted out of the box. When fitting, the earbuds should feel comfortable but snug. To change earbud size, gently pull off the existing rubber bud and replace it with an alternate bud, ensuring correct left and right sides by lining up the holes.

Low Charge Indicator:

iPhone Charge Indicator: A vertical battery charge level will appear in the top right corner of your smartphone screen.
Low Charge Remaining Indicator: When the battery charge drops to 20%, there will be a voice prompt, and the LED light will flash red in rapid succession.

Maintenance Features:

Important Safety Information:

Do not use the apparatus near water while plugged in for charging to avoid electric shock.
Protect the Micro USB charging cable from being pinched, especially at the connectors.
Unplug the Micro USB charging cable during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
Avoid listening at excessive volume levels or for prolonged periods to prevent hearing damage.

Disposal Instructions:

At the end of its useful life, the Stride BT5 should be recycled through your local e-waste collection point. Consult your local council for details if you are unsure of the appropriate collection point.

Consumer Guarantee:

Sprout products come with guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, including rights to replacement or refund for major failures and compensation for foreseeable loss or damage, and repair or replacement for goods not of acceptable quality. The Stride BT5 is warranted to the original owner for 24 months from the purchase date against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.
