8.2. Foundation
The foundation pad for industrial heat exchangers should be level and sized correctly
for the outline of the frame. It must also be of adequate strength to support the full
operating weight of the equipment. The overall dimensions and operating weights are
listed on the customer drawing. Sanitary heat exchangers are typically installed on
sloping floors.
