What to do if my SPX HANKISON HES refrigeration system is not functioning properly?
    • T
      Terri DuncanAug 5, 2025
If the refrigeration system isn't working, here's what you can check: * Ensure the unit has power. * Verify the line disconnect switch is closed. * Check for blown fuses or open breakers and ensure electrical continuity. * Have an electrician inspect for faulty wiring or loose terminals. * Confirm the dryer on/off switch is in the 'on' position. * If air-cooled, clean the condenser face. If water-cooled, clean the water strainer. * Check and replace the fan motor or fan pressure switch if faulty. * Ensure sufficient water pressure, especially during high water flow demand. * Check, adjust, or replace the water regulating valve if it's mis-adjusted or defective.

Why is there water downstream of my SPX Dehumidifier?
    • F
      Frank DavisAug 15, 2025
If you're finding water downstream of the dehumidifier, here are some potential causes and solutions: * Residual moisture in the pipelines: Blow out the system with dry air. * Open air bypass system: Check the valve positions. * Reversed inlet and outlet connections: Verify the correct connection. * Air lines exposed to low temperatures: Insulate or heat trace air lines. * Excessive moisture at the inlet: Install a separator ahead of the dryer. * Glycol pump not operating: Replace pump cartridge and check for power.
