Always Using Ssangyong Genuine Parts
• You can maintain the safety and perfor-
mance of your car by using only speci-
fied parts or Ssangyong genuine parts.
• You can distinguish specified parts by
their parts number and seal.

• You can distinguish an authentic
Ssangyong genuine part by its
hologram.
Driving on a Snowy or Icy Road
• Shift to the lowest possible gear and
drive slowly.
• Since your braking distance is longer
than usual, allow greater following
distance.
• If you accelerate or brake too fast, your
vehicle will slide and you might get in an
accident, so drive with caution. When
braking, use engine brake; apply your
brakes only after you have slowed
down considerably.
• When going downhill on a slippery road,
use engine brake and drive slowly.
CAUTION
When traveling on snowy or icy road,
use snow tires for safer driving.
Driving on Sandy or Muddy Road
• Keep your speed steady and as low as
possible.
• While driving, be careful not to acceler-
ate or stop too quickly because you
might get stuck in sand or mud.
• If your vehicle gets stuck in sand or mud,
insert a rock or a piece of wood under
the stuck wheel, lightly apply the accel-
erator pedal and gently shift back and
force between reverse and forward
gear to allow inertia get your vehicle out.
CAUTION
• If your vehicle is stuck in sand or
mud and you cannot get out, do
not repeatedly step on the accel-
erator pedal. If possible, get an-
other vehicle to tow you.
