    • E
      Elizabeth BrownAug 11, 2025
If you are pumping the pump handle but the patient isn’t lifting, check that the release lever isn’t held down, lift the lever up, and try again. Also, check the jack for leakage or if it's out of fluid. The jack lobe may need to be readjusted.

If the pump arm is very hard to pump, check the lift linkage and lift arms to ensure nothing is stopping the lifting motion. You may need to release pressure or it may be pumped to maximum extension.

How to fix Stand Aid Wheelchair adjustment knobs that won’t stay tight?
    • V
      vbutlerSep 3, 2025
If the adjustment knobs won’t stay tight, it may be due to stripped threads. Try to re-tap the threads. If that doesn’t work, you may have to tap the hole out to 3/8-16 and try a 3/8” knob.
