What to do if Stand Aid 1600 pump handle won’t lift patient?

  If you are pumping the pump handle but the patient isn’t lifting, check that the release lever isn’t held down, lift the lever up, and try again. Also, check the jack for leakage or if it's out of fluid. The jack lobe may need to be readjusted.

Why is the Stand Aid Wheelchair pump arm very hard to pump?

  If the pump arm is very hard to pump, check the lift linkage and lift arms to ensure nothing is stopping the lifting motion. You may need to release pressure or it may be pumped to maximum extension.
