What to do if speaker audio is not heard when the key is pressed and held on my Standard Horizon HX400IS?

If you can't hear speaker audio when pressing and holding the key on your Standard Horizon Transceiver, there are a couple of things to check: * First, the battery may be low, and you may need to charge it. * Second, the audio volume might be set too low. Try turning the VOL knob clockwise to increase the volume.
