OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Battery installation:
Taking Measurements:
1. Press and release the “Read” button. The
measurement is displayed on the LCD screen.
IntelliMeasure
®
takes readings from the bottom
edge of the unit (Measurement Zero Point).Thus,
for maximum consistency of measurement it
is best to place the back of the unit onto a rm
vertical surface, such as a wall. Ensure that
IntelliMeasure
®
is placed perpendicular to the
surface being measured and pointing towards it.
2. When repeating a reading for conrmation, make
sure IntelliMeasure
®
is still at the same point and
still perpendicular to the surface being measured.
3. It is important to ensure that the area between
IntelliMeasure
®
and the surface to be measured
is clear of all obstructions as these will affect the
accuracy of the reading. Ensure the distance to be
measured is clear of obstacles.
