Why Stanley Pressure Washer pump does not reach working pressure?
- BBrittany NortonAug 4, 2025
The Stanley Pressure Washer pump might not be reaching working pressure due to several reasons. It could be a worn nozzle, which would require replacement. The water filter might be dirty and needs cleaning. Ensure the water supply tap is fully open to provide sufficient water. Air being sucked into the system or trapped in the pump can also cause this issue; check the tightness of hose fittings and try depressing/releasing the gun trigger until the water flow is steady. Also, verify the adjustable nozzle is correctly positioned and the suction height is not more than 0.5 m. In some cases, the thermostatic valve may have tripped, requiring you to wait for the correct water temperature to be restored.
