The stairlift will start after a few seconds – the delayed
start is a safety feature.
When the stairlift has reached the top or bottom of the
stairs, it will stop. If you release the control at any
point, the stairlift will stop. If the stairlift stops before it
has reached the end of the stairs or a charge point,
you will hear a series of beeps to let you know that the
stairlift is not on charge. These beeps will stop as soon
as you start the stairlift again.
Powered swivel seat (optional) If you have
an powered swivel seat, you can continue to
hold the controls when you have come to
the end of your journey and the seat will
automatically swivel to the side. See page 13.

Please note that after the stairlift has stopped, there
will be a few seconds’ delay until the seat swivels.
Please note that if your rail travels around a

fitted with a travel alarm. This is a series of beeps
