600 Diagnostics: Navigation
The Status display is visible with the carriage cover in place
and will show the following basic user fault codes:
- Charge voltage not present.
1. Battery voltage too low.
2. Ready for operation.
3. Safety pad obstructed.
4. Chair-arm rocker switch or key switch is OFF.
5. Downside chair arm not lowered or seat not loaded.
6. Isolator seatbelt not worn. (If Fitted)
7. Seat not centred.
8. Switch 3 on ECU not latched.
H-h Switch 3 on ECU not latched. (A stored fault is present,
Refer to page 56).
9. Fault present. Refer to fault codes.
F. Software fault. Replace main ECU.

Stairlift has stopped. Customer reports ‘9’ is displayed in the
Status Display.
Status Display showing ’9’ ‘Fault present‘.
Example Fault:

For specific fault information, press and hold Mode Advance button.
1 No power supply detected to option ECU.
2 Battery voltage in excess of 30V.
3 Current limit exceeded 24A Instantaneous
4 Current limit exceeded 16A for 1 second
5 Powered swivel motor stalled ( Starla or Saxon )
6 Powered swivel or footrest motor current limit exceeded

Fault Display LED’s
Status display will change from ‘9’ to ‘A’.
Fault display changes, to show specific fault. In this case
‘4’. “Current limit exceeded 16A for 1 second”
Fault display shows specific fault ‘4’.

Fault Display LED’s
Status Display continues to show ‘9’ on main ECU.
Fault Display LED’s show fault group ‘3’. Fault
group ‘3’ indicates that it will be one of the faults from
1 to 6.
Remove Carriage Cover to access main ECU and Fault Display LED’s.
Press and de-latch SW 3 on main ECU to enable fault mode.
