INTRODUCTION
Starrett 798B Electronic Calipers can output measurement
data to a variety of peripherals with either a Starrett
DataSure
®
Wireless Data Collection System End Node or
cable.
The 798A version of this tool the same features as the 7987B
without output capability.

• Large, easy to read LCD, .310" high characters
• Induction type linear encoder system
• Heavy-duty bar and slide, 3.5mm thick
• Hardened stainless steel measuring surfaces for long life
• Fine adjustment
• Slide lock
• Accuracy meets DIN862
• Zero at any position
• Automatic shut off of display after 30 minutes of non-use
• Reactivation of display with movement of slide with no
loss of position
• 6" (150mm), 8" (200mm) and 12" (300mm) sizes
