WARNING!
Risk of re and explosion through leaking nned heat exchanger!
The coolant circuit of the nned heat exchanger contains highly
pressurised, easily ammable, odourless gas. Risk of re and
explosion in the event of uncontrolled coolant leaks.
-
Keep the heat pump away from heat sources and naked ames.
- Do not drill into or scorch the heat pump.
-
Do not use any objects apart from those permied by the
manufacturer to speed up the defrosng process.
-
Immediately shut o the heat pump if you suspect a coolant leak.
- The coolant is odourless. Always keep ignion sources away from
the installaon site of the heat pump.
-
Contact an authorised expert if you suspect a coolant leak.
- Observe the naonal regulaons on gas.
- All persons involved in work on the refrigerant circuit must have a
valid cercate from an industry accredited cercaon body
that ensures competence in handling refrigerants according to a
specic assessment recognized by industry associaons.
Ice on the finned heat exchanger
During operaon of the heat pump, a layer of ice from condensaon water may form on
the nned heat exchanger. This phenomenon is to be expected. Depending on the
ambient condions, it is possible that the ice layer that has formed might not be
completely defrosted by the automac defrosng feature, resulng in reduced output
and damage to the heat pump.
