Connecting the solar collector
Observe the intended position for the product in your water treatment system. The solar
collector should always be the last element to be connected so that it heats the already
filtered water before it flows into the pool.
1. Deactivate the water treatment system.
2. Close the inlet nozzle of the pool with a plug.
3. Make sure that all water lines of the water
treatment system are connected so that pool
water does not flow out uncontrolled when
reconnecting the hoses.
4. Unscrew the threaded rings
2
from the inlet
and the outlet.
5. Place one sealing ring
5
each on both fittings
and push them all the way into the inlet and
outlet.
6. Screw the fittings onto the inlet and outlet of
the solar collector with a threaded ring
2
each.
7. Disconnect the hose end from the pool's inlet
nozzle and attach it to the fitting in the inlet of
the solar collector instead.
8. Fit both hose ends
3
with hose clamps
4
.
9. Slide one end of the hose all the way onto the
fitting at the outlet of the solar collector and
attach it with the hose clamp.
10. Attach the other end of the hose to the inlet
nozzle of the pool with the hose clamp.
11. Remove the plug from the pool's inlet nozzle.
The solar collector is connected.
Connecting two collectors
You can connect several collectors with each other if you want to increase the heating output. We
recommend connecting at most two solar collectors with each other, depending on the output of your
water treatment system. You will need an extra pool hose (Ø 38 mm) for this.
We strongly recommend using a bypass set for this purpose (item no. 060045). This not only ensures
optimum control of the heating output but also lets you directly control the water flow rate, depending on
the output of your water treatment system.
