The DBAL-I
2
is preset at the factory to a neutral position. In the neutral position
the laser beam is parallel to the bore of the weapon. The IR POINT can be
returned to the factory alignment (neutral position) using the following
procedure:
1. Turn the adjuster marked U/D CW to the natural stop.
2. Turn it CCW one and one-quarter turns (1
1
/4) until the white dot on the
adjuster aligns with the white dot on the adjuster guard.
3. Turn the adjuster marked R/L CW to the natural stop.
4. Turn it CCW one and three-quarter (1
3
/4) turns until the white dot on the
adjuster aligns with the white dot on the adjuster guard.
