- The continuous pilot arc allows easy cutting of perforated materials;
the pilot arc is transferred to the piece that is to be cut when the torch is
about 3 mm. away from the cutting surface.
- The THOR needs compressed air for the plasma gas. The air used
must be free from impurities, oil or other polluting substances.
- A pressure regulator and a filter are also provided.
- The potentiometer for regulating the output current, positioned on the
front panel, sets the cutting current of the machine, modifying the
absorption of current from the power supply line.
3.4- TECHNICAL DATA PLATE
The technical data plate is composed of an adhesive PVC label (Black
text on white background) measuring L= 67 mm. H= 45 mm., applied on
the rear of the machine;
3.5- SERIAL NUMBER (S/N)
The Serial Number (S/N) composed of 8 figures is marked on the
guarantee sheet, on this manual, on the packaging and on an adhesive
plate applied on the casing.
The first 2 figures of the Serial Number (S/N) represent the year of
manufacture of the machine..
The serial number is also written on the declaration of conformity, on
the declaration of delivery of the manual, on the packaging and on the
guarantee certificate.

TAB.1 (following page) lists the characteristic technical data of the
machine.
