B. Installation Test
(1) Verify the FWD vertical edge of the horizontal tail flange is flush with the vertical tail leading
edge.
(2) Check the correct horizontal tail attachment by pushing at its leading edge upwards.
(3) Do an operational test of the elevator control.
(a) Ensure the elevator control can be moved freely without jamming or abnormal noises.
(4) Check rear bolts fit in the rear bushings (visible from the under surface of the horizontal tail).

FOLDING OF OUTER WING
1. General
A. In order to store the TSA-M economically, the outer wings can be folded over the inner wing by
the use of a wing folding device (optional ground equipment).
2. Tools, Equipment and Material

3. Wing Folding Procedure
CAUTION: THE WING FOLDING DEVICE IS FOR STORAGE USE ONLY. DO NOT USE THE
FOLDING DEVICE FOR THE A/C IN OPERATION (ENGINE RUNNING, TAXIING).
CAUTION: ENSURE SUFFICIENT PERSONNEL IS AVAILABLE TO ASSIST DURING FOLDING
OF OUTER WINGS, IF REQUIRED (REFER TO AFM SUPPLEMENT).
A. The procedures for folding and unfolding of the outer wings is described in supplement S05 to the
flight manual of the TSA-M.
4. Wing Folding Device Maintenance Practices
A. There is no maintenance required for the wing folding device.
The procedures for assembling and dissassembling of the wing folding device are described by the
supplement S05 to the TSA-M Flight Manual.
B. The wing folding device has to be kept clean and smooth running. For storage of the folding
device use the carrier bag including protection sheaths for the sliders.
C. In case of damage or malfunction of the wing folding device contact the manufacturer.
