Daily Inspections
1 General
A. Daily inspections include the pre-flight and post-flight checks. These visual inspections must be
performed each day the aircraft is used.
2. Pre-Flight Check
WARNING: ALL STEPS OF THE PRE-FLIGHT CHECK MUST BE PERFORMED CAREFULLY
BEFORE FIRST FLIGHT OF THE DAY AND AFTER AN AIRCRAFT RE-ASSEMBLY.
OMITTING THESE CHECKS OR DOING THEM CARELESSLY MAY CAUSE HEAVY
ACCIDENTS.
A. The pre-flight check must be done before the first flight of the day by the responsible pilot. The
walk-around shows the pilot the general condition of the aircraft and its systems.
B. For the pre-flight check procedure, refer to the S6 Airplane Flight Manual, Section 4.
3. Post-Flight Check
A. This check must be performed after the last flight of the day. The post-flight check includes all
inspections of the pre-flight check. Additionally:
(1) Refuel the airplane as per recommendations in the AFM.
(2) Record into the log book each problem found in flight and during the post-flight check.
(3) Park the aircraft. For parking procedure, refer to 10-10-00.
(4) If necessary, moor the aircraft. For the appropriate information, refer to 10-20-00.
