AIRWORTHINESS LIMITATIONS - GENERAL
1. Introduction
A. This chapter sets out the mandatory replacement time, and so far as is necessary, inspection
periods for structure as well as structural inspection procedures for the S6. It contains
information about the service life of such parts or components that must be overhauled or
replaced at specific flight time limits.
Compliance with the specified times and intervals is mandatory for maintaining the airworthiness
of the aircraft.
B. The primary purpose of this chapter is to set in front of the manual a reference of mandatory
measures to maintain the airworthiness of the aircraft.
ALL NON-DOCUMENTARY CHANGES OF THE CHAPTER 04, "AIRWORTHINESS
LIMITATIONS" ARE AGENCY APPROVED.
C. For time limits of products with separate TC from further manufacturers installed in the aircraft
(e.g. Engine, Propeller etc.), maintenance checks and inspections, refer to chapter 05: “Time
Limits / Maintenance Checks“ of this manual.
2. General Description
In the following, a brief description and intended purpose of each section of this chapter is given.
A. Section 04-00-00 - Airworthiness Limitations - Introduction. This section provides a general
overview of content and purpose of the chapter.
B. Section 04-00-01 Component Time Limits. This section contains prescribed service life of
components and parts up to the replacement or overhaul.
